I created this blog on February 4th, 2022, with Brooklyn Nine-Nine playing on the Netflix tab in the background. It was then, at that moment of utter boredom, that I decided to take a step to better myself through writing, and through creating a space for not only myself but for others to feel safe about asking questions, giving answers and expressing their opinions.
Though this trope is incredibly cliche, it’s true in my case: ever since I was little, I had a passion for writing and reading. Usually, it was writing fan fiction for the Percy Jackson series, or creating short stories in my head. Once I grew up to realize that we didn’t live in a world where demigods or monsters existed (and that we lived in a much worse world than imaginable), I began writing about real-world stuff: race, sex, gender, religion, beliefs. I’ve been called an opinionated person by many, which, although may not seem like it in the tone of the insulters, I think is a sign of intellectual ability and therefore a compliment. So, to not only make other opinionated individuals who are perhaps unable to reach their fullest potential in their surrounding environment, and also to be able to express my own opinions, I created this blog!
I’m fairly sure that some posts won’t necessarily be about “deep stuff” at all; some will simply be about food, or fashion, or daily life experiences.
